5-Day No-Prep Sub Plan — Art

Five full days of substitute-ready art in one no-prep download, built for the problem that makes an art absence hard: the covering teacher is almost never an artist, there is often no second art teacher in the building to ask, and studio work needs supplies, setup and cleanup that a substitute cannot run. Nothing here asks them to teach art or to open the supply cupboard. Each day is an original nonfiction reading with every comprehension answer in the reading, followed by a page that checks its own answers, and a run sheet at the front tells the substitute exactly what to hand out and when. The five days run the foundations of an art course in order — the elements, the principles, observational drawing, reading a work of art, and design thinking and careers — so this is a week of coursework rather than a folder of activities.
